My Story
My journey into the world of lactation support began with the arrival of my first baby. Like many new mothers, I entered this chapter with high hopes but found myself navigating a complex web of latch issues and the physical exhaustion of overproduction without a clear roadmap. Those early months were a profound lesson in resilience, teaching me that the biology of feeding is only half the story—the other half is found in the gentle support and expert guidance that every family deserves.
Raising three children with my husband of two decades has shaped my perspective as much as my career in Public Health Education. As a board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) since 2022, I have had the honor of supporting families through all seven WIC clinics in Las Vegas and serving as one of the chief mentors for the UNLV Lactation Hub. My mission is to walk beside you, providing clinical expertise rooted in the warmth and empathy I discovered during my own motherhood. Together, we will ensure you feel heard and truly empowered.
Today, my personal history allows me to approach every consultation with more than just clinical knowledge. I bring a heart that has felt the struggle and a voice that understands the quiet defeat of a difficult day. My mission is to ensure that no mother feels alone in her process, turning obstacles into opportunities for connection, confidence, and a sustainable breastfeeding relationship built on trust and compassion.
From Mother to Consultant
My own struggles ignited a deep-seated passion to ensure no other parent feels as lost as I once did. This personal journey naturally evolved into my professional mission. Today, as a lactation consultant, I combine that lived experience with clinical expertise to provide the compassionate, evidence-based care every family deserves.
